It is always good to read cheerful news about the NHS, and a report out this week ranked Worthing and Southlands hospitals as two of the best hospitals in the country to work at.
Moreover, Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust, which also runs St Richards, is placed among the top five trusts where staff are likely to recommend the care provided there. What an outstanding tribute to our hard working NHS staff who are not only enjoying their jobs but also recognise and place care of patients as their top priority.
This comes in the same week that Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, announced an average 6.5% increase in staff pay over the next three years - a reward greatly deserved. Furthermore, our NHS Trust has been rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC.
Indeed, we are extremely lucky to have such a high level of care available in our constituency.
