Conservative led West Sussex County Council has been praised by the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government for significant improvements made to the Council's leadership, governance and culture. The Secretary of State, Robert Jenrick, also commented positively on the Councils handling of the pandemic and their ambitions for the future. This endorsement from the Secretary of State follows recent positive findings on the Council's services from both Ofsted and HM Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services.
